Leap of Faith (5/24/2003)

Originally written for my friend's debut.


i don't know if i believe in heaven
but i believe in life after death
that our soul flies above the earth
in one flawless reverie.

i don't know if i believe in God
but i believe in Faith
that there is goodness in mankind
that reminds me that He is always watching

i don't know if i've believe in Love
but I believe in following your heart
that its melody is so much sweeter
when it vibrates on an iron string

i don't know if i believe in Me
but I believe that I have the power
to do what i put my heart and mind into
what i believe...

and what i believe is nothing compared to the
love that you've given me
while my eyes are still closed;
the love that i feel through the blood in my veins,
the love that my heart beats to
the love that only my Faith brings
the love that I've found in you.
